Returns and refund policy

RETURNS


If You Change Your Mind


You have a legal right to cancel the Contract (subject to certain exceptions such as goods that have been personalised to your requirements) for any reason at any time within 14 working days of the day after You receive the Goods e.g. the last item of your order. This is the legal "cancellation period".


You can cancel by sending The Bell Tent & Festival Accessories Shop an email telling us why you want to cancel. 


If you simply want to exchange the Goods you have ordered, you must do so within 14 days of the day after You receive the Goods.


You must return the Goods to The Bell Tent & Festival Accessories Shop (at Your own risk and cost) within 14 days of notifying us that You wish to cancel by email and further instructions will be provided as to where to return along with the delivery note as proof of purchase and proof of the cost of delivery. 

The Goods must be returned unused with the original packaging still intact.


You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods back to us.  Keep your receipt from your courier company.

We will refund the full purchase price and the standard delivery charge paid within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods and proof of postage. We will only pay for standard delivery returns even if you choose to pay for express delivery. 



Goods must be returned to us in the same condition that you received them.


Any goods that have been personalised to your requirements can not be refunded.


To exchange un-opened goods please return to us within 14 days. The goods should remain un-opened in their original packaging. 

If we accept there is a manufacturer defect with the goods then we will either replace them or offer a full refund. You must return the goods within 14 days of receiving at your own cost. If you return the goods after the 14 days then an exchange will be offered.


You will receive a replacement or refund as long as the defect is not caused by extreme weather, lack of care, wear and tear, accidents or deliberate action. We will not honour a replacement or refund if you have failed to follow the product instructions or if the goods have been mis-used, altered or repaired without our approval.  Any refund will also include any delivery charges which You have paid and Your cost of returning the Goods to Us. If We do not find any fault or defect then Your cancellation and refund rights are limited.

If you find a defect with your goods then you should tell us immediately and send evidence including photographs along with a detailed email explaining the problem.



If you've paid using PayPal or Apple Pay, we'll send your order back to our distribution centre on your behalf so the transaction can be reversed, or your order can be exchanged and resent back out to you.


We will aim to process Your refund or replace the Goods as soon as possible but will do so within 14 days of Us agreeing to provide You with a refund or replacement. If You have paid using a credit or debit card and if You choose to return Goods to our head office , any refund or replacement due may be made at that time except that any delivery charge refunds which are due will be processed separately. We reserve the right to send any Goods which You claim are faulty to Our inspections team.


Whenever You return Goods to Us because You believe they are faulty, please keep proof of the postage costs.  We will not be responsible for Goods which are lost or damaged in the post
